had training) repeat some few words you say to them so often. They
also have special acquainted skills like informing you of a stranger's
presence at home.
They are the african purebred macaws . I am a vet and as a
veterinarian, it will be beneficial for you to know some basic
information aboutmacaws as they are the most surviving in the
population of birds as
. macaws are very intelligent and should be fed a rotating diet
to prevent boredom. The base of the diet should be canned macaws
diet (Zupreem) supplemented with New World primate biscuits(Mazuri).
Yogurt (live culture), raw peanuts, banana, chopped broccoli or
carrot, cucumber, corn on the cob, apples, grapes,
peaches, plums, eggplant, acacia gum, celery, papaya. mango, cooked
beans, raw string beans, cooked pasta, fruit ring breakfast cereal and
cooked oatmeal can be fed daily.
