 We are producing a new Haryanavi Television serial "Tau Ki Panchat" which is based on the social issues like Dowry, Female Feticide, AIDS etc.

Synopsys:
‘Tau Ki Panchaat’ is a series of television drama to educate and effectively eradicate the social malpractices and other issues witnessed daily specifically in Haryana state.
Tau as mentioned in the series is taken as a very wise person in a far rural area in Haryana where he demonstrates his skills and knowledge to overcome the general and widely dilated malpractices such as Dowry and Female feticide in the state. The word ‘Panchaat’ is Haryanvi pronunciation of ‘Panchayat’ which means a local self-government at the village or small town level in India. However, the very Panchayat as shown in this series would be differentiated by integrating the idea of not just hearing of day to day cases of general problems; it revolves around Tau as a single point of knowledge and judgment skills. There would be no definite verdict to any case as expected from a Panchayat, but there would be a deep and Soulful discussion on each problem where people would put their thoughts on the same. After listening to each person’s view, Tau will narrate a simplified view, which might be a solution to the problem, to the viewers.
